Here's an interesting article on some 'un-earthed' color references from 1692 attributed to an artists named 'A. Boogert' that seems to mirror the Pantone industry standard of color communication... and beautiful script throughout to boot!
Another Gateway Project wrapped-up - this time a great local (Grand Forks) business that needed a 'make-over' for their website. Garry's Saddle Shop had existing road signage, business cards and website - problem was the branding was inconsistent - so we found a way to bridge the saddle icon of the business cards to match the font of the signage and bring it together with some cleaner- approaches to the website.
GSS also wanted update old images of saddles and change the content. We here at GD put together an affordable photo shoot with consistent background textures, highlighting Garry's craftsmanship and and range of product accessories.
We are really happy with how it came out and look forward to working with him in the future.

On your next trip into Greenwood, check out the new sign promoting next year's Founders Day - another project proudly designed by Gateway Digital & Amber & Wool. Awesome signage printed by Cornel at Signs49. For all things Founders Day check out their website http://www.foundersday.ca/ - photo by Janet Matsalla
